From February 11 to 24, 2007, 22 CIBC Wood Gundy employees, family members and friends climbed through rainforest, desert and snow to reach the 19,340-foot summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. By the time they successfully reached the summit, they had raised more than $520,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Since the CIBC Wood Gundy Climb for the Cure tradition began in 2004, the firm has raised more than $1,000,000 for breast cancer research, proving that you can reach new heights while raising money for a good cause. |
